Spherical Search are currently partnered with an innovative and popular player in the Combination Product/Drug Delivery space who are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team. This position will be have a hybrid arrangement, with option to work part of the week at home and part at their office in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. The Marketing Manager plans, develops, and implements the strategy for marketing and communications to promote and support the company business and products. The role is highly autonomous with a minimal level of direction. Key Responsibilities Developing Pharma Services Marketing Strategy: Lead the development of pharma services marketing strategy ( including devices and service products) aligned with company business strategy & objectives. Collaborate with senior management to define strategic direction. Create and maintain marketing plans. Plans are required for all products including those in development and on-market. Ensure plans are:Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights Developed in a timely manner & kept current Clearly articulated, adopting a consistent format across all products Supported by referenced evidence wherever possible Integrated with product commercialisation plans. Communicated to internal stakeholder Analyse campaign performance metrics and optimise marketing efforts based on data-driven insights Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI Collaborate with Pharma Services cross-functional teams to align marketing plans Plan and develop multi-channel marketing campaigns to support marketed products and those in pre-launch phase. Implement the plans in conjunction with the appropriate external agencies. To include:Web content & SEO optimisation Technical content microsites Social Media (LinkedIn) Advertising in pharma press – on page and digital Digital campaigns (Google PPC) Video Content Manage technical microsites. Maintain and expand the content on the product technical microsites in line with customer expectations and ongoing feedback. Develop content via coordination with multiple internal stakeholders (R&D, operations, regulatory etc) and execute via external agency. Develop the publication strategy for the year. Working with the content marketing agency plan the content strategy to: support key product activities and launches. align with current industry themes. e.g., connectivity, sustainability create novel content from commissioned market research showcase company capabilities / technologies. Develop product messaging. For new products & line extensions determine the messaging and branding to effectively communicate to external customers whilst maintaining the company business units identity. Ensure technical details are correct by coordinating with internal subject matter experts. Ensure alignment with corporate communications. Work alongside the corporate communications manager and team to ensure consistent external communications across the business. Promote company BU internally as appropriate to all associates. Manage joint communications with external partners. Work closely with external partners to ensure consistent communication of joint activities and collaborations. Ensure appropriate level of approval from partners for any external communications. Manage existing external suppliers /agencies. Develop and maintain good working relationships with external agencies and consultants. Where appropriate appoint new suppliers to meet the marketing objectives. Knowledge and Expertise Previous experience (5 - 10 years) in a marketing role within a regulated industry preferentially the medical device (drug delivery) and or pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of the development process for medical devices. Strategic product marketing with ability to both develop and implement plans. Experience managing and working with external marketing agencies. Working knowledge of digital communications including campaign development and implementation of web, social media, email, PPC etc. Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally sales experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Experience in working in a role with international responsibility. Qualifications Educated to degree level in a life science or business discipline, as a minimum. Additional marketing qualifications desirable (CIM etc) Personal Characteristics Commercially aware and driven with the ability to both plan and deliver strategies that support business growth.
