We are seeking a passionate and energetic Outdoor Practitioner to join our team and support children in their outdoor learning journey. If you are confident in delivering outdoor education and are excited to help children explore and learn in natural environments, we would love to hear from you!
About the Role:
As an Outdoor Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality outdoor learning experiences for children. You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging outdoor activities, ensuring children are safe, stimulated, and have opportunities for exploration and development in nature.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver outdoor learning activities that support children's development and learning.
Ensure outdoor provisions are safe, stimulating, and conducive to child-led exploration.
Encourage children to engage with nature, fostering curiosity and a love for the outdoors.
Work collaboratively with the team to develop outdoor spaces and resources.
Ensure health, safety, and safeguarding standards are met at all times.
Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through outdoor play and activities.
Requirements:
Confidence and experience in outdoor provision and outdoor education.
Qualification in Early Years or related field is preferred but not essential.
Passion for working with children and promoting outdoor learning.
Ability to manage outdoor environments safely and effectively.
Enthusiastic, energetic, and willing to get involved in outdoor activities, regardless of the weather!
A flexible and positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
