Main Duties:
As a Finance Manager, your main duties include:
1. Preparing information for key stakeholders to support business planning and decision making
2. Being a key business partner to a range of operational staff
3. Maintaining accurate financial records, control systems, and policies to ensure that regulatory and statutory requirements are met
4. Assisting in the review, development, and implementation of internal control systems
5. Ensuring stakeholder issues are addressed and remedied
6. Managing recruitment, performance, and development of departmental staff
7. Contributing to special projects as appropriate
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid based and situated in Worcester. The company operates from a modern office with a strong Finance Team. A flexible approach may be required for working outside of standard office hours.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
1. ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar qualifications
2. Knowledge of accounting standards and systems
3. A strong ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
