About the Role
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction by managing day-to-day customer account activity, allowing the commercial team to focus on business growth.
As the liaison between the organisation and customers, timely and quality communication is key to achieving excellent customer service. Key duties and responsibilities include:
* Developing relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs and expectations
* Handling purchase orders, maintaining order books, and ensuring timely delivery
* Proactively managing customer orders and resolving issues promptly
* Owning and resolving customer complaints efficiently
* Supporting External National Account Managers, assisting in new account setup and achieving targets
* General administrative duties to support the wider team
This challenging yet rewarding role requires strong customer relationship-building skills, experience in the FMCG industry, and knowledge of commodity-driven products and pricing. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the UK food industry and proficiency in SAP and CRM systems.
