We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to guide diverse projects from initial idea to successful completion. This exciting role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with our Capital Projects Manager, developing and rolling out strategic capital investments that align with our business strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive examinations of project goals and defining the full scope of work, ensuring adherence to required specifications for tender submission.
* Leading transparent tender processes, confidently managing terms and conditions while expertly handling contract negotiations.
* Collaborating effectively with diverse teams to align on budget and schedule, guaranteeing smooth execution of projects.
* Effectively navigating project risks, resolving scheduling conflicts and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
* Assessing and approving RAMS, conducting essential training for onsite work management, issuing work permits, and overseeing high-risk activities to meet legal requirements and company policies.
* Efficiently concluding projects, summarizing post-completion benefits and accomplishments, obtaining necessary approvals to adhere to UK legislation.
This role requires excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities, as well as exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong alignment to the company values is also essential.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognized Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), possess appropriate safety qualifications (MSTS, FAAW, and IOSH), and have experience in Engineering, FMCG, or Construction.

A competitive estimated salary range for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
