We arelooking for an exceptional Fundraising Manager to join our STS Charity and helpus grow and develop our ambitious plans.
You will help lead and grow our fundraising teamand function, covering areas such as community fundraising, individual giving,events, partnerships, in memory, legacies and grants and trusts.
You will play a vital role in the development anddelivery of our charity fundraising strategy and related activities. You willgrow and develop a network of supporters, ambassadors, and partners. Buildingexcellent relationships and positioning our STS Charity as the charity ofchoice.

Main duties of the job
You willhelp lead and grown our fundraising team and function, covering areas such ascommunity fundraising, individual giving, events, partnerships, in memory,legacies and grants and trusts.

You'll bepassionate about making a difference and have an innovative approach tofundraising and building support for the Charity.
As well asa proven track record of meeting ambitious targets, you wont be afraid tothink outside the box when it comes to fundraising and creating awareness.
You'll have significant experience in community fundraising, individual giving,managing corporate partnerships, trusts, grants, and major donors. You'll beable to work independently with autonomy and will be able to manage a number ofprojects and demands. Most importantly, you will have a desire to do the verybest for our patients and have empathy with the aims and objectives of our STSCharity.

Experience
Essential
1. At least 5 years experience working within a charity, communications or similar environment
2. Previous experience of working in a corporate fundraising or relationships role or being able to bring appropriate skills from another organisation
3. Demonstrable experience of working on a successful campaigns and events
4. Proven track record of delivering and exceeding against targets, managing budgets and reporting
5. Experience of developing strategic partnerships
Desirable
6. Experience of individual giving and community fundraising, grants, trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships, and major donor giving
7. Experience of using a range of fundraising techniques/platforms
8. Experience of leading a team
Skills and Knowledge
Essential
9. Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising legislation and Code of Practice
10. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
11. Ability to communicate and develop relationships with a wide range of individuals, groups, and stakeholders
12. Ability to plan a wide range of often complex events and activities
13. Proven track record of successful campaign management
14. Excellent communication and influencing skills both oral and written
15. Motivated individual with the ability to motivate others
16. Ability to create and maintain relationships with key partners and supporters, including local NHS charity leads, NHS Charities Together and our fundraisers, partners, and ambassadors
