Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager the Marketing Executive will assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers. The role demands excellent knowledge of current and emerging digital technologies to ensure that the GBS maximises its reach and develops business opportunities. The post holder must also assist development of specific digital marketing related activities to enable GBS to achieve its ambitions.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online marketing efforts, ensuring that work is progressed in a timely and professional manner to support the whole of GBS.
* Assist to create and run campaigns on various digital and offline channels, including setting goals and KPIs to support the holistic marketing strategy
* Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.)
* Assist with creation of key digital assets including emails, landing pages, ad copy, ad creatives, email marketing campaigns, videos and more.
* Support with the delivery of our SEO strategy by optimising content online and addressing the technical considerations that impact SEO, with the help of tools like SEMrush.
* Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Mouseflow, Zoho CRM, Google Ads analytics, Linkedn campaign analytics etc.)
* Develop and integrate content marketing strategies, help to create and support marketing content such as target audience videos briefs and blog posts.
* Setup, manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns.
* Contributing to the execution and sharing of all KPI reporting and data analysis that’s associated with digital marketing execution.
* Supporting brand Consistency and compliance whilst enhancing brand reputation and positioning
* Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Assisting with Go-to-Market Strategies when launching new programmes in the marketing as well as budget management
* Responsibility for ensuring all digital activities comply with relevant legislative requirements, such as DPA (and GDPR), web accessibility, CMA.
To ensure integrated marketing efforts, you will work with a variety of teams in this area, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Affiliates, SEO, Copywriters, Designers, and Developers. Additionally, you will cultivate and preserve solid bonds with important campus stakeholders to guarantee smooth departmental collaboration.
Additionally, you will support the Marketing Manager in making informed decisions and ensuring the success of our marketing campaigns by gathering information, putting together visualizations, and summarizing insights for reports and presentations.
This position, which is based in Greenford, London, and occasionally requires travel to our other campuses in the UK and overseas, provides the chance to play a key role in our vibrant marketing team.
OTHER DUTIES
* Occasional work may be required at evenings or weekends, for example to ensure project delivery in critical time periods.
* To undertake staff development appropriate to the post as may be identified and required from time to time, and in accordance with GBS’s Staff Development Programme.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
* Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts
* Previous experience with the Google platforms in particular Google Analytics and Google Adwords would be ideal.
* Skills and experience with Umbraco or similar CMS platforms would be preferred.
* A demonstrable understanding of SEO would be preferred.
* Highly motivated – a self-starter with bags of initiative who gets things done.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally.

DESIRABLE
* A degree in a marketing or communications related field
