Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Secondary School in Glossop
Start Date: January 2025
A secondary school in Glossop is searching for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work closely with students who need additional academic or behavioural support. This role involves providing targeted assistance in the classroom, helping students stay engaged and succeed in their studies.
Responsibilities:
* Individualised Support: Offer one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, adapting activities to meet diverse learning needs.
* Collaboration with Teachers: Work with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and provide feedback on students' progress.
* Behavioural Support: Assist with behaviour management, helping students develop positive social skills and build self-confidence.
* Resource Preparation: Support lesson preparation by creating and organising resources, ensuring a smooth flow in the classroom.
Ideal Candidate:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
