This role is critical to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance within the aerospace industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Inspection of detailed parts in accordance with design data
2. Perform product Stage Inspections and Final inspections
3. First Article Inspection Reports (VISUAL FAIR and/or AS9102) and prepare documentation packs
4. Maintenance of supplier and reject logs
5. Data entry and administration
6. Good Inwards Inspection
7. Raising non conformance reports (NCR's) and completing investigations utilising problem solving tools (5 whys, Ishikawa, 8D's) and related CAPA's.
8. Management and use of calibrated measuring equipment
9. Support all relevant functions, promote and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team
10. Completion of any work related tasks, which would be deemed reasonable of this role
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
11. Previous experience in Aerospace/Automotive environment preferred
12. Previous experience within ISO9001, AS9100 approved organisations
13. Recognised qualifications or experience in Manufacturing and Quality Management Systems
14. Working knowledge of CMM, in particular, Faro Arm training and experience preferred
15. Must be task/achievement focussed
16. Good concentration levels, attention to detail and methodical approach
17. The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately keep records
18. Computer literate, Windows based - good oral and written skills
19. A good team player with a flexible attitude to work load
20. A safety-conscious approach to work
21. Must be reliable, have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
