Role Responsibilities
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in the finance team's operations, working collaboratively across all departments. Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing supplier relationships efficiently and professionally.
2. Organising weekly payment runs, including BACS, CHAPS, and SEPA.
3. Posting journals for ad hoc supplier payments accurately.
4. Resolving supplier invoice and purchase order queries by liaising with various departments.
5. Processing and posting around 150 invoices each week, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
About You
The ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, possessing the ability to thrive under monthly deadlines. You'll need:
1. Experience in purchase ledger management with a strong grasp of its essentials.
2. Multicurrency experience, especially in USD and EUR, is highly beneficial.
3. Proficiency in Sage and outstanding MS Excel skills.
4. Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with departments and suppliers.
5. A methodical approach and unwavering attention to detail to ensure accuracy throughout.
