HR Manager - Permanent - Belfast MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a multi-national organisation, as they look to add an HR Manager to their team, on a full-time, permanent basis. The role: This is role plays a key part in the delivery of the strategic objectives, which will contribute to and support the design, development and implementation of the HR agenda. The successful candidate will provide and lead an effective generalist HR function, providing support and guidance to the team on all people related matters. The main responsibilities: Foster strong and collaborative partnerships with the site leadership team and HR and training teams across the company. Build positive interdepartmental relationships to enhance the delivery of effective HR support and guidance. Maintain open lines of communication and establish connections with external agencies. Engage proactively with employees at all levels to develop a positive and inclusive work culture. Collaborate constructively with the HR team to shape and drive the site's HR and People Strategy. Promote a supportive working environment through effective leadership, aligned with the company's vision and values. Cultivate strong connections with all departments to ensure effective communication and cooperation. Lead the development and execution of the Site HR operational plan, tracking progress against HR objectives. Develop, implement, and review HR Policies and Procedures in accordance with best practices, legal requirements, and company standards. Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring consistent communication and performance evaluations throughout the probationary period. Contribute to the company's talent and succession planning initiatives to ensure future leadership and skill development. Undertake any other duties as considered by the company to be within the scope of the role of the site HR Manager. The ideal candidate: 3rd level qualification in HR or related discipline. Minimum CIPD level 5 qualification. Proven experience leading an HR function in a fast-paced environment. Experience in development of a HR function, drafting policies, initiatives and embedding processes and procedures. Significant experience in Employee engagement and development.
