Job Description
SS&C Technologies seeks a Director of Wealth Reconciliations. Reporting into the Senior Director, the role will be responsible for overseeing the Wealth reconciliation processes in alignment with the Client Asset Sourcebook (CASS) regulations. A key member of the CASS Office leadership team, this role involves ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in the reconciliation of client assets, as well as leading a team of reconciliation professionals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the CASS regulations, strong leadership skills, strong communication skills and the ability to drive improvements in reconciliation processes.

Requirements
Compliance and Oversight:
* Ensure that all reconciliation activities comply with CASS regulations and industry best practices.
* Develop and implement strategies to maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Regularly review and update reconciliation procedures and controls to ensure they meet current regulatory standards.
Team Leadership:
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of reconciliation specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
* Provide training and support to team members on CASS requirements, reconciliation processes, and best practices.
Process Improvement:
* Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy in reconciliation activities.
Stakeholder Management:
* Collaborate with internal departments, including compliance, finance, and operations, to ensure effective communication and resolution of reconciliation issues.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in relation to CASS and reconciliations.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and reviews.
Risk Management:
* Identify and mitigate risks related to CASS 6 & 7 reconciliation, ensuring that any discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved.
* Develop and maintain risk management frameworks related to reconciliation processes.
Reporting and Documentation:
* Prepare and present regular reports on reconciliation status, compliance, and performance metrics to senior management and clients.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of reconciliation activities, procedures, and compliance efforts.
Other responsibilities:
* Support operations to perform multidisciplinary, complex, and unpredictable work.
* Combines experience and expertise of multiple vertical lines of business; core internal and operations-related applications, products, and processes; and customers' business operations to effectively lead, support, and/or perform operational activities in response to business needs.
* Leads and/or participates in projects and conversions/implementations to ensure successful integration into operations. Navigates and works horizontally across the organization, understanding how different areas integrate and impact each other.
* Leader with broad operational or functional responsibilities who participates with other senior leaders or executives to establish and ensure the achievement of strategic plans and objectives.
* Demonstrates in-depth company knowledge, specialized skills, and influence to solve critical and complex issues.
* Participates in the development and administration of broad-scope programs and projects that have significant impact on operational or functional success.
* Related experience of leading CASS operational teams.
