Qualification Required
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
* A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
Key responsibilities
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
* Plan and deliver creative and engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Observe, monitor, and assess children’s progress, documenting their achievements and developmental milestones.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, ensuring open and effective communication.
* Support children’s emotional well-being, offering comfort, encouragement, and reassurance when needed.
* Provide personal care tailored to the needs of each setting and age group.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming learning environment.
* Ensure all safeguarding practices are understood and implemented effectively.
* Actively contribute to fostering an inclusive and positive atmosphere for all children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
