Clubhouse Restaurant Manager
Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a Clubhouse Restaurant Manager to join Team Rockliffe!
The Role as aClubhouse Restaurant Manager
The main responsibilities of the Clubhouse Restaurant Manager role will be (but not limited to):
* Responsible for driving profitability, providing leadership, guidance, and direction to the team to provide the highest quality in standards, service and financial return across the Clubhouse Food & Beverage areas.
* Maximise revenue opportunities with energy and creativity to be successful in gaining market share and drive the Clubhouse business in challenging market conditions across food and beverage sales, golf days and Grassholme events.
* Ensure that the quality of product and service is beyond the expectations of the guests and achieve a 5 red star environment with hotel guest satisfaction scores are in line with company standards and maintained
* To control all Clubhouse costs in line with the department budget. Specifically ensuring that Clubhouse payroll controls are in place and in line with current budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure the team are familiar with the products and services available across the department and Resort and encourage them to proactively upsell to guests.
* Understand and control the Restaurant reservation systems (ResDiary), ensuring maximum capacity at all times.
* Appraise as agreed the performance and development of the Clubhouse team members ensuring regular targets and objectives are set and reviewed.
* Become an integral part of the hotel management operating team by attending weekly meetings and participating in duty management where necessary.
* Provide focus, direction and co-ordination to the team to ensure that the guest journey is seamless, and delivers the 5-star experience
* Ensure all golf days, visitors and the membership experience is commensurate and meets the expectations of a top international golf venue
