Main duties of the job
The Role: Supporting the Cardiology department and CRM service as a Cardiac Physiologist, you will: Be autonomous in device interrogation, optimisation, troubleshooting, and reprogramming of a range of CIEDs including ILRs, pacemakers, ICDs, and CRTs, in line with local and national policies and guidelines Have experience with a range of programmers and devices from various manufacturers Have experience in conducting Echocardiograms Have experience in remote monitoring on multiple manufacturer platforms Support the wider surgical teams in clinical decision-making to reprogramme or deactivate devices before surgery, following BHRS guidance Ensure accurate clinical records are maintained in line with professional, statutory, and organisational guideline Provide clinical supervision in line with statutory requirements

As a Cardiac Physiologist at our Leeds Hospital, you'll hold either a BTEC ONC and HNC in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement, or a BSc in Clinical Science /Physiology (or equivalent). You're currently registered with the RCCP as a Clinical Physiologist. Ideally, you're also accredited with SCST and BSE. You're flexible, motivated and a team player.
