Deputy Care Home Manager - Sweyne Court Care Home, Rayleigh. £17.40 per hour.
We have a great opportunity for a Deputy Care Home Manager looking for their next challenge to work closely with the team at our Sweyne Court Care Home in Rayleigh, Essex which is a residential home with 43 bedrooms and provides exceptional residential, residential dementia and end of life care. The home is currently rated 'GOOD' by CQC in all domains. You will make a difference every day by engaging in meaningful activities with people living in the care homes as well as promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect always.

* £17.40 per hour
* 45 hours a week, Monday - Sunday (alternate weekends)
* You will be required to be on-call alternate weeks.
About the role of Deputy Care Home Manager:
As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will provide leadership to ensure that high standards of care are delivered to meet the support needs of each person living in the care home every day. You will be responsible for coordinating and coaching care and ancillary teams to ensure that quality standards are continually improved, and outcomes are recorded and measured effectively.
You will ensure that your team is well supported to perform their roles safely, as this will assist them to provide outstanding care. It goes without saying that you will need to be passionate about providing person centred care, ensuring the lives of people living in the care homes are continually enriched.

What we are looking for from you:
* Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Health and Social care or equivalent
* Experience as a Team Leader or Deputy Manager is desirable
* Experience within a nursing/care home setting for older people.
* In depth knowledge of CQC Regulations and legislation
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Excellent organisations and planning skills.
