Marketing Manager
Salary – Circa £45,000
Aviva is currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to support our Workplace business. In this role, you will collaborate closely with employers to develop bespoke pension communication plans, while also supporting new business opportunities to bring on prospective clients.
This position is part of the Customer and Marketing function within the Go-To-Market team and involves working collaboratively with other key areas such as Data, Digital, and Campaigns.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has previous experience of working with external, senior stakeholders on:
1. Representing Aviva Workplace marketing in client interactions, ensuring alignment with client needs and goals.
2. Identifying opportunities to create bespoke communication plans in collaboration with clients, enhancing employee engagement and retirement planning.
3. Taking accountability for supporting new business opportunities, delivering high-quality, deadline-driven responses for tenders and pitches.
4. Preparing and presenting pitch materials, including slides and communication examples, to prospective clients.
A bit about the job:
The purpose of this role is critical to the workplace business. We currently manage relationships with over 23,000 employers including some of the largest UK pension schemes. For these “VIP” clients, we will work collaboratively with them to create bespoke comms plans for the employees, understanding their objectives to support their employees in their retirement planning.
The other part of this role is supporting new business tender responses, supporting pitch responses, pitch presentation slides, providing communication examples to present.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
5. Excellent stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with senior external clients and internal teams.
6. Strong presentation and storytelling skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex ideas in a compelling and clear manner.
7. Ability to interpret data and use insights to inform and develop effective communication plans.
8. Strong organisational skills with the ability to influence and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Experience and knowledge within Financial Services, specifically pensions, is a bonus.

10. Salary – Circa £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
