Job Description
3. Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of the healthcare facilities.
4. Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
6. Manage and supervise the housekeeping team.
7. Maintain inventory and ensure that all cleaning supplies are available when needed.
8. Train new team members and provide them with ongoing support.
9. Coordinate with other departments to ensure a high standard of patient care.
10. Regularly inspect facilities for cleanliness and overall condition.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Housekeeping Manager should have:
11. A degree or equivalent qualification in facilities management or a related field.
12. Experience in managing a team in a healthcare/ hospiality or related environment.
13. Strong knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures.
14. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
15. The ability to manage a budget and resources effectively.
