Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teaching Assistant to join our complex needs team at a warm and welcoming SEN school. The successful candidate will work with pupils aged 11-18 years old who have severe learning difficulties and complex needs, including Autism and ADHD.
This is a full-time position for the remainder of the academic year, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in students' lives.
About the Role
The SEN Teaching Assistant will provide support to teachers in delivering tailored educational programs, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students who require additional support.
Requirements
* Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
* Experience working with students with special educational needs
* Ability to establish positive relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders
* Strong organizational and time management skills
What We Offer
