Your Company:A highly successful manufacturing business is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the growing, dynamic team located in the Southampton area. As a business that supports various innovative industries such as aerospace, defence, Formula 1 and high-end performance vehicles, they are leader within their field and have built up a wealth of success, producing parts from technically demanding materials and building a loyal and extensive customer base. Reporting into the Head of Sales, the position holder will be responsible for lead generation, advancing opportunities and closing deals, whilst also collaborating with the vehicle designers and manufacturers to provide a cohesive service.Your Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Acting as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for customers regarding all queries about sales and service, providing a high-class level of customer service
2. Keeping internal communications clear and open regarding the emergence of new opportunities from existing and new customers
3. Ensuring that customers are supported to understand their own requirements and displaying how the business can support these, including offering bespoke engineering services and tailoring sales proposals
