The Enva Group is a leading waste management and resource recovery business in the UK and Ireland, formed in 2017 through a Private Equity backed buy out of DCC plc. With 1,850 employees across 37 sites, this organisation has become a £400m revenue operation.
Based in Glasgow, Enva Scotland comprises a general waste recycling business and Specialist Scotland businesses, including ash treatment, lab chemical collection and disposal, and a co-mingled waste composting facility.
This key role plays a critical part in driving analytical and commercial best practice, efficiencies and profit across Enva Scotland. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing financial analysis, input and advice to the divisional management team on operational issues and commercial decision-making, with input from the Group Director of FP&A as required.
* Supporting the General Manager in securing the orderly and profitable development of the business within approved plans.
* Delivering incisive and user-friendly management information and reporting to the General Manager and Group management.
* Working with senior management to take corrective actions from identified variances to drive business performance.
* Coordinating the Division's budget and forecast processes, ensuring a robust financial control environment.
* Developing pricing policies in collaboration with the GM, while ensuring adherence to Enva group policies and procedures.
* Ensuring each operating unit operates at its highest standards and maintains systems and reporting consistent with wider Group policies and guidelines.
Based on the current market conditions, salary expectations are approximately £70,000 per annum for this Business Operations Finance Manager role, making it an attractive offer for qualified candidates.
