Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a team with the aims of:understanding your clients keeping them safecreating a plan they can achieve with your supportchecking in with them and reviewing their progresskeeping accurate and timely records of your contact with themworking effectively with other social care providers Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recovery continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clientssupporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent careThere will be assessments to carry out and records you need to keep and update, that's all part of our professional commitment and service to our clients and commissioners.

You will strive to work collaboratively with partners and communities, ensuring that we are as accessible as possible and that the principles of a Recovery Oriented System of Care and true person centred practice are at the heart of all that we do. Our Richmond service provides support to people concerned about their own or someone else's alcohol or drug use. We work with people at all stages on their journey providing both one to one appointments and group work. We are determined and always professional in our approach to each and every case and we never judge, we're just here to help. 11. To be successful in this role you will:
12. have some experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting
13. have knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions
14. have experience of delivering group work, specifically in outreach and community settings
15. knowledge of health and safety, including assessing clients in high-risk situations
16. have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
17. be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise you work
18. be comfortable using IT and digital media
19. able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion and be happy to support other With You locations when needed
20. Ideally you will also have previous experience of working or volunteering with people who misuse substances. We welcome applications from those with lived experience.
