HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver
Menzies Distribution are looking for an experienced HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Oldham. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.
The Details:
1. Salary: £37K Per Annum
2. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - DAYS
3. Hours: Basic 48 Hours Per Week (9.6 hour shift with 45 minutes unpaid break.)
4. Overtime Available

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:
7. Comply with all Driver hours and Road Transport Directive legislation
8. Feedback to the office on any issues around loading, unloading or delays
9. Maintaining safety and security of loads at all times
10. Keep in regular communication with both customers and colleagues to update on progress and manage expectations effectively
11. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, as we value the communities we serve
12. Carrying out necessary checks to ensure vehicle is safe and legal
13. Ensure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
14. All deliveries reach the customer safely, efficiently and on time
15. Complete daily vehicle checks, both pre and post-shift
16. Keep an accurate and honest record of all vehicle checks
Driver Requirements:
17. A full UK C+E licence
18. No more than 6 points on your licence
19. No previous disqualifications
20. Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
