Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated SEMH HLTA to join a successful secondary school in North Bristol.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist team of staff supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health issues.
Key responsibilities:
* Supervising and providing targeted support for designated students.
* Establishing strong, professional relationships with pupils.
* Communicating students’ needs and effective strategies to teaching staff.
* Supporting the development, implementation and review of Pastoral Support Plans, EHCPs, and IEPs.
* Delivering small group and one to one interventions.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be an enthusiastic and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
* Have experience working with KS3/4 pupils.
* Possess a willingness to learn and implement new support techniques.
* Inspire and engage a diverse range of students.
