About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Purchasing/Supply Chain Manager to oversee the company's purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement purchasing strategies to enhance profitability
* Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure advantageous terms
* Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
* Utilise ERP systems to track purchases and analyse data
* Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
* Work closely with the logistics & production teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
What we would like from you:
* Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within manufacturing
* Proficient in using ERP
* Ability to negotiate effectively and secure favourable terms
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
