Robert Half are recruiting for a Management Accountant on a temporary basis in Swindon for up to 9 months
You will ideally be CIMA /ACCA/ ACA qualified, and available now.
The duties are listed below, and this is a great opportunity to get a well known name on your CV.
1. Prepare and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
2. Ensuring the balance sheet is cleared down and all open items have appropriate levels of support.
3. Ensuring all period end journals have appropriate level of analysis to enable sign off.
4. Ensure incorrect ledger postings are dealt with at source and training provided to prevent reoccurrence.
5. Responsible for providing an accurate and timely P/L for your business area for presentation to relevant finance team members.
6. Calculate and post accruals, prepayments and provisions - working with Accounts Payable to ensure the process is as smooth as possible and process improvements are made.
7. Posting all journals for the Finance team for respective business area with the support of the Finance Analyst
8. Complete the period end actuals bridging in an accurate and timely basis.
9. Providing supporting information
10. Support and maintain a close relationship with the Finance Business Partners where required to ensure all postings and results are delivered per agreed timescales.
11. Attend relevant business meetings with the business partners to ensure you have sufficient knowledge of the business area.
12. Working with reporting team to ensure cashflow impacts and business risk and opportunity impacts are highlighted.
13. Ensure robust procedures and process notes are created for all processes.
