Role – Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager
Based- Lichfield
The salary and package - up to £55,000 plus a car allowance
HSE Recruitment are working on a really exciting opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Lichfield, to find them a new Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager.

The primary responsibility of the Health and Safety and Sustainability Manager is to take the lead for the Businesses overall Health and Safety strategy and implementation at the site, including maintaining the ISO systems. Additionally this role will lead the change in implementing strong Environmental and Sustainability strategies and plans.
This is a single, site-based, standalone role which reports into the Operations Director and sits as part of the senior management team. There is a lot of support for safety so although it is standalone there is a culture of accountability when it comes to safety.
Person specification:
• NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum qualification
• Strong Manufacturing or warehousing experience
• ISO systems experience
• This role could suit an established H&S Manager or a experienced H&S Advisor ready to take a step up into their first Manager position.
• Experience running sustainability or environmental projects.
• Personality wise we need is someone who is hungry, passionate and ready to come in and really push this business forward from where it is. Someone who will take ownership of the function, who will provide direction and always strive to be better.
Salary is up to £55,000 plus a car allowance (No travel required outside of the one site)
