Sofas & Stuff is a fast-growing, independent furniture retailer. Our Head Office is based in the beautiful West Sussex countryside in a converted dairy, and we have a network of 23 showrooms nationwide.
We are delighted to offer a full-time position for a highly motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic individual to work at our Salisbury Showroom. As a Sales and Design Consultant, you would advise customers on choosing their ideal sofa, which involves patience, creativity, and a great personality. You would have a flair for putting colour schemes together in the showroom and have a natural instinct to treat customers to the highest level of customer service.
An outgoing personality who enjoys talking to people is ideal. You must have great communication skills, be well-presented, have a positive attitude, and, above all, be a people person. Although previous experience in sofa sales would be a plus, it is not essential as full training will be given. Sound administration skills and computer literacy are essential. Previous experience within an interior design environment would be strongly beneficial. Experience in sales and an ability to work under pressure in a busy environment are essential.
As we are open every day, the flexibility to work weekends is essential. To ensure there is a sales presence at all times, this will involve regular weekend work as required, working any 5 out of 7 days.
You will be offered a basic salary along with a rewarding commission structure.
