About the Role
We are excited to announce an exciting opportunity within the Business Development team of one of our key clients: an experienced Bid Manager to lead and manage strategic bids that support the growth, sustainability, and competitive edge of our business. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in shaping the company’s strategic objectives.
As Bid Manager, you will contribute to maintaining our position as an industry leader by overseeing high-impact bid initiatives, engaging new market sectors, and driving profitability. The role requires a creative and experienced professional with the vision to enhance bid quality and competitiveness.
Responsibilities
* Leading the project management of complex, high-value bids
* Crafting, editing, and refining high-quality bid proposals
* Overseeing the organisation and improvement of the Bid Library and Case Studies
* Ensuring tender submissions are complete and compliant
* Coaching and mentoring Bid Writers
* Building effective networks and relationships within the company
* Working alongside the Business Development Lead, with the ability to step in as deputy when required
* Managing additional value-driven projects, such as award submissions
