Soft Services Manager - NHS

Venn Group have partnered with an NHS Trust based in London, who are looking to recruit a Band 8a Soft Services Manager on an interim basis to assist with the support of both the Portering and Domestic Services.
The candidate should have project/change management experience within a facilities setting and ideally have knowledge regarding the roll out of the NSoHC 2021 (National Cleaning Standards).
It will be a hands-on role that will require working on site and across both departments.
Rate: per hour Umbrella
Location: North London
Duration: 3 months initially
Hours: a week
Key Duties:
1. Responsible for overall service provision of the following services, in a timely and efficient manner, within the operational constraints and available resources of the Trust
2. Provide visible leadership to all staff, promoting a clear sense of direction within the Directorate, in line with achieving the hospitals objectives
3. To work with service managers: Domestic Manager, Portering Manager and Patient Dining manager, to deliver the Directorate’s strategic and operational agenda.
4. To carry out effective communications to all levels, including particularly complex levels of negotiations relating to tendering processes along with overcoming communication barriers and delivering disciplinary decisions and statements
5. Will have full responsibility for the budget of over £2 million
