SHEQ Manager
Exeter based
Working for this construction and civil engineering contractor, you will work on a mixture of projects across the country, reporting into their Exeter office.
You will be an integral part of the management team, providing support to the whole team on best Health & Safety practices throughout the business.
Duties will include:
* Carry out regular audits, inspections and visits
* Carry out SHEQ tasks that are required to maintain company policies and procedures
* Risk assessments and method statements
* Advise on the practical implementation of CDM, Safe Systems of Work, Construction Phase Plans, Environmental Management Plans and Wellbeing strategies.
* Accident reports for reportable accidents
* Amend and write up internal Health & Safety documentation, safety policies and procedures and strategies.
Suitable candidates:
* Must have experience as a SHEQ Manager
* Must have an understanding of ISO 9/14/45 certifications and NERS (national electricity registration schemes)
* NEBOSH General or Construction
* Driving Licence, CSCS card & SMSTS (Preferred)
* Must be willing to travel, due to sites being across the country
