Senior Physiotherapist - Inpatients

Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for a SeniorPhysiotherapist to join our friendly and motivated team of staff working on the hospital Physiotherapy Department.
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. The successful candidate will cover weekend inpatient work including orthopaedics, women's and men's health, bariatrics, cardio respiratory and general medical patients. Participation in on call-rota is optional.
Main duties of the job
1. To manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard. Ensuring excellent patient care is promoted within the hospital
2. Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for inpatients and outpatients.
3. To provide surgical pre-operative assessment for all patients working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
4. To provide clinical direction for other physiotherapy staff within the team.
5. To provide excellent customer service and promote a professional and caring environment.

19. To ensure the department maintains Circle Health Group Physiotherapy accreditation.
20. To undertake other duties delegated by the Clinical Services Manager - Physiotherapy
WHAT DO YOU HAVE?
21. Chartered Physiotherapist with vast postgraduate general Physiotherapy experience and relevant experience in a more specialist area.
22. Chartered Physiotherapist Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
23. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
24. Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
25. Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
26. Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.

Qualifications
Essential
36. Chartered Physiotherapist with vast postgraduate general Physiotherapy experience and relevant experience in a more specialist area.
37. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
38. Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
39. Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
40. Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
41. Degree level educated, or equivalent.
42. Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
