LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Behaviour Mentor to join our partner primary school in Small Heath, working within a Resource Base for SEN pupils. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful impact on children with SEN. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping students overcome challenges and achieve success both academically and socially. This long-term opportunity has the potential to become a permanent position for the right person.
The Role:
Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEN, maintaining clear and consistent boundaries to manage any challenging behaviours effectively.
Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies that promote positive behavioural outcomes.
Encourage active engagement and participation in classroom activities, helping students feel included and supported.
Deliver tailored interventions to enhance students' learning, emotional wellbeing, and overall personal growth.What we are looking for:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant degree.
Experience working in a primary school setting.
Qualifications like TeamTeach or training in Positive Behaviour Management are highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in managing challenging behaviours.
