The school is seeking a permanent Science Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and qualified teacher to inspire students and contribute to a thriving Science department.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential to meet the requirements of the role.
Experienced in Teaching Science: Confident delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Passionate About Science Education: Committed to inspiring students and fostering a love for learning within the subject.
Organised and Professional: Capable of planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons while maintaining accurate records of student progress.
Effective in Behaviour Management: Skilled at maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
An Excellent Communicator: Able to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons in line with the school curriculum.
Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic success.
Contribute to the development of the Science department, including curriculum planning and enrichment activities.
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, promoting the school’s behaviour policy.
Liaise effectively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support students’ needs and achievements.
