Due to continued growth and a long-term commitment to high-volume manufacturing at their Witney Centre of Excellence, we have an exciting opportunity for a Vision Engineer to join the Operations Engineering Group, supporting all manufacturing aspects.
The Vision Engineer will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing processes of our flagship biosensor products, using innovative problem-solving skills and staying up-to-date with the latest vision systems technology. You’ll collaborate with engineering colleagues across manufacturing and R&D, contributing to all stages of vision systems projects—from defining requirements and specifications to designing, developing, and installing solutions for our automated manufacturing equipment.
What do you need to apply?
* HNC, HND, or degree in an Engineering/Scientific discipline.
* Proven experience integrating Vision Systems and Automated inspection solutions, ideally with Cognex and Keyence, programming in C / C#, and code readers.
* Skills in Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley PLC platforms are beneficial but not essential, as is experience with vision libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV or PyTorch.
* Ability to follow procedures and create accurate documentation in a regulated environment.
