Role Overview
As the People Operations Manager, your role is to lead the People Operations function, ensuring efficient management of people systems, data accuracy, benefits administration, and compliance. This role will also oversee compliance and process management when establishing operations in new countries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor and maintain compliance with local labour laws, data privacy regulations, and organisational policies.
2. Provide oversight and manage processes related to setting up operations in new countries, including compliance, local labour laws, and benefits.
3. Manage and iterate the playbook for international expansion, ensuring smooth and compliant entry into new markets and in existing ones.
4. Oversee all people operations processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
5. Continuously review and improve people processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
6. Manage and maintain HR systems, tools, and technology; identify opportunities for new solutions to meet organisational needs.
7. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and external partners to manage risk in global expansions and ensure regulatory adherence.
8. Act as a primary point of contact for people-related operational matters across all locations, both domestic and international.
Qualifications
1. Strong understanding of people operations, including process management, HR systems, and compliance requirements.
2. Experience in managing international expansions and understanding of global labour laws.
3. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills to manage complex operations across multiple regions.
4. Strong analytical skills to assess processes and systems and identify areas for improvement.
5. Proficiency in HR technology and systems management.
