Job Description:
As a Fashion Product Manager at Sosandar, you will be responsible for selecting, purchasing, and promoting merchandise to ensure maximum profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and risks.
* Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimise product assortment, pricing, and placement.
* Collaborate with design and production teams to develop seasonal product lines that meet customer demand and align with brand aesthetic.
* Manage inventory levels through WSSI and line cards to maximise sell-through and minimise excess stock.
* Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities.
* Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favourable terms to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
* Work closely with the concessions and wholesale team to ensure we meet the product needs of our partners.
* Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on sales performance, inventory levels, and merchandising initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven experience at Merchandiser level, ideally in the fashion industry.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Creative flair and a passion for fashion.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
