The hours of work and shift patterns are: Tuesday - Saturday - 6am -4pm
The rates of pay are: £12
Main Responsibilities:
The General Operative will be responsible for:
* Correctly and effectively carry out the required functions, once trained to do so, in the cutting hall
* General operative duties on the line as required
* Ensure that all areas of training in basic food hygiene, health and safety and product quality are adhered to
* Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation during working hours
* Produce each product to specification
* Maintain Health and Safety standards in accordance with Company Policy and all relevant legislative documentation – actively encouraging health and safety awareness with other operatives and maintaining a safe working environment.
* Ensure work practices minimise the risk of product contamination.

Skills required:
* Good spoken English is essential
* To meet targets set by management and the customer, i.e. productivity, quality hygiene and waste.
* To work as part of a team and effectively communicate with all colleagues and Management staff
* Meet all customer requirements & meet standards expected
* Thorough and Methodical
* Self-motivated
* Able to maintain high personal standards
* Comfortable working in a pressurised environment and able to meet tight deadlines
