If so North Lincolnshire has an opportunity for a Part Time (3 days) Independent Conference and Reviewing Officer with a dual role for the chairing of Child Protection Conferences & Child in Care Reviews.
The successful candidate will be a qualified and registered Social Worker with at least 5 years post qualification experience who is able to demonstrate an advanced professional knowledge of legislation, procedure and guidance related to child protection, children in need and children in care and who has the ability to make and contribute effectively to complex decisions affecting the safety, wellbeing and quality of life of children and young people.
Experience of working in a social care setting which has included direct work with service users, and experience of supervising or mentoring other workers will be essential. Excellent communication and networking skills will be essential as will be the ability to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders and the ability to develop and lead effective partnership working.
