About the Opportunity
As a result of an increasing portfolio of projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal PDMS Piping Designer to join the team based out of Phoenix House, Stockton on Tees. We have a team of approximately 140 based in the office offering Project Management and multi-engineering delivery capability. We offer a range of solutions, across a variety of clients and business sectors through the full project lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning. The projects we are currently involved in include: clean energy (green hydrogen and fusion), effluent treatment, steam generation as well as nuclear decommissioning for a diverse range of clients.
We are currently recruiting a Principal PDMS Piping Designer to support the team in Stockton.
As a Principal PDMS Piping Designer, with a proven track record in mechanical handling, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Execute design and Draughting activities (Concept, FEED, Technical Study and Detailed Design).
2. Produce and check isometrics, piping layouts, pipe supports, general arrangements, detailed drawings, special item datasheets, bulk take-offs and associated line / valve schedules.
3. Liaise with stress engineer for design pipe supports.
4. Must be proficient with PDMS, Autodesk Plant 3D and Navisworks Manage.
Here's What You'll Need:
5. Degree Qualified
6. 5 years engineering experience working within a regulated industry.
7. To be fully conversant with UK Statutory Regulations and industry design guides and standards relating to this discipline.
8. Must be proficient with PDMS, Autodesk Plant 3D and Navisworks Manage.
