£19 PAYE per hour or £25 Umbrella per hour
We are currently recruiting for MIG Welders based in Stockport, Cheshire. This is going to be an on-going contract position with the possibility of going permanent down the line. The hourly rate will be either £19 PAYE per hour or £25 Umbrella per hour + enhanced overtime rates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To weld Aluminium using MIG in line with weld procedures and drawing requirements.
2. To use drawings and work instructions to complete all tasks.
3. Ensure through visual/non-destructive inspection that the fabricated component conforms to the drawing.
Key Skills Required:
1. Practical welding/fitting experience in a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment.
2. Able to weld aluminium using MIG.
3. Must be able to pass a DBS check if successful.
