About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at an SEN-school in Tiverton. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and educating students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to individual student needs
* Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support
* Collaborate with other teachers and professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings and parent conferences
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working in SEN settings
* Strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support them
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with SEN
* Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources
* Enhanced DBS check
Schedule:
Day shift: Monday to Friday, no weekends

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £41,000 per year, depending on experience.
