We are looking for a Industrial Electrician for this growing business based in Chesterfield to provide installation, test and inspections along with asset care both proactive and reactive maintenance cover. Working within heavy industry, manufacturing, warehousing, data centre's and commercial offices.
This field service role is predominantly covering client sites in Rotherham and Chesterfield with head office in Chesterfield so being based close to these areas is essential. You will be provided with a van and tools and be paid for time on site and overtime as and when available.
No day will be the same as you travel to different customer sites to support with electrical maintenance tasks on site whether this be pre-planned maintenance or attending breakdowns.
The role as a Industrial Electrician:
Installation, upgrades and maintenance of industrial electrical wiring systems.
Perform both complex and routine diagnostics for troubleshooting electrical issues, utilising wiring schematics, drawings, diagrams and technical manuals.
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities
Use a variety of testing equipment
Maintain record of repairs required, parts used and labour time
Skills and Qualifications needed for this Industrial Electrician:
Level 3 qualified as a minimum you must be electrically qualified and competent.
18th edition - Preferable
ECS Card – Essential
Test and inspect – preferable. The benefits of a Industrial Electrician:
A basic salary of of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Hours will differ from week to week and will include night shifts and weekends.
Paid overtime time and 1/2 weekdays and Saturday double time on a Sunday.
Van, fuel card, & tools.
