The candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm as well as a dynamic and passionate approach. In this case, attitude and personality is more important than qualifications, as we are looking for the right person to join the team. Ideally the candidate should have experience of the SEN system. Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates must have a full and clean driving license as well as use of their own vehicle. About the Role We are passionate about supporting parents who have children/young adults with learning disabilities to navigate the complex processes of transition into adult services. We attend 200 events all across the country in SEN schools, specialist colleges, parent/carer groups, SEN charities & associations etc. which could either be transition specific events, parents evenings or coffee mornings to large scale events such as conferences and exhibitions. This role will involve working in a semi-autonomous but supportive function on an ad-hoc basis within the Marketing Team. You will attend events in various locations in your area (within a 100 mile radius) throughout the academic year to represent Home From Home Care, promoting our services and sharing insights with parents. Events may be during day time or evening hours. Overnight stays may be required, depending on the travel time or start/finish time of the event. Attendance to training/group meetings will be required at least once a year at our office ‘The Social Care Exchange’ in Lincoln. General administrative duties as required Build excellent internal working relationships with Marketing Team To represent Home From Home Care in a professional manner at all times.
