The vacancy
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating, managing, and delivering a maintenance plan for the facility, plant, and machinery at Manuplas, enabling and ensuring the efficient and effective running of the site, facilities, and production plant and machinery in line with operations across the factory to meet on-time delivery of all products. This will include identifying, justifying, and implementing improvements and cost savings to processes, plant, machinery, and facility.
The role involves assembling and coordinating the information, people, materials, equipment, along with all the other necessary resources to get the job done.
The role also includes maintaining and updating the relevant documentation and legislation associated with the facility, plant, and machinery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing preventive maintenance schedules, databases, spare part lists, etc., for all plant and machinery.
* Developing TPM processes, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), Risk Assessments, quality standards, and any other procedures for internal/external maintenance requirements.
* Planning and managing all planned maintenance schedules, reactive repairs, calibration, PAT (Portable Appliance Testing), minimising equipment downtime and impact on Production operations.
* Ensuring compliance with QHSE and relevant legislation/regulations.
* Planning and overseeing all facility maintenance and repair requirements of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, grounds maintenance, and any other building systems.
* Managing and overseeing facility environmental/legislative requirements, such as licensing requirements, emission testing, etc.
* Managing and overseeing site waste management for general and hazardous waste.
* Creating and delivering monthly performance reports.
