We are seeking an experienced Joinery Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of supply-only and installation projects for a diverse client base.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate the implementation of manufactured joinery products for retail, commercial, and residential environments.
* Collaborate closely with clients' project teams to schedule installations and ensure expectations are met effectively.
* Supervise and manage on-site installation teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
* Attend client and site meetings as needed to provide updates and address concerns.
* Prepare detailed method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliance and safety.
* Work closely with designers and clients to define detailed project briefs and objectives.
* Manage client queries and secure necessary approvals.
* Lead project delivery in coordination with estimating and production teams, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure timely procurement and delivery.
* Control project costs, ensuring all variations are documented and approved by the client.
* Deliver high-quality joinery projects, resolving snags to uphold our reputation for excellence.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the joinery fit-out sector is essential.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Excellent problem-solving skills to address unforeseen challenges in live working environments.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
* Demonstrated ability to manage installation teams and build strong working relationships.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety regulations within the construction industry.
* Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus but not essential.
