Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Prioritise and establish activities aligned with business objectives.
2. Define customer requirements and implement robust, efficient, and safe quality controls.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with current customer needs.
4. Continuously improve working practices and procedures to achieve ISO 9001 and 14001 excellence and certification.
5. Manage the annual audit schedule.
6. Ensurepliance with customer, legislative, andpany specifications.
7. Provide technical guidance for direct reports, addressing issues impacting customer demand promptly.
8. Monitor and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) by conducting robust Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analyses for process defects.
9. Engage with customers to understand their requirements and deliver sustainable solutions.
10. Lead New Product Introductions as the site's technical expert.
11. Focus on team development and succession planning for all functions.
12. Contribute to supplier reviews, driving process quality improvement across the extended supply chain.
13. Document Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for all site processes, using identified risks to enhance performance.
Background:
14. Degree-qualified or equivalent with over 5 years of experience leading quality-focused teams.
15. Proficient in leading internal quality audit schedules.
16. Previous experience with Continuous Improvement (CI) and Kaizen methodologies.
17. Strongmercial awareness is preferred.
18. Excellent stakeholder engagement andmunication skills (both internal and external).
19. Effective presentation skills.
