Job summary
You will be working as part of our admin team, and will be responsilble for providing an effective and organised administrative service for our GPWSI ENT (GP with special interest - Ear nose and throat) service. You will also provide a high standard of administrative work in regard to other aspects of the practice workload.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will involve but not be limited to:
Receiving and processing incoming referrals
Liasing with GP / Practice nurse regarding referrals
Maintaining and managing appointment rotas
Using Choose and Book system to manage incoming referrals
Communicating with patients via telephone / text / letter
Communicating with GP practices via telephone / email regarding referrals
Maintaining and monitoring waiting lists for clinics - communicating with GP / Practice nurse to ensure within target time
Submitting monthly invoices
Workflowing incoming mail
Maintaining the practice recall system, ensuring annual targets are completed

To ensure a seamless,efficient administrative service is provided to The Grove Medical Group GPWSIservice. This involves a large amount of GP admin; liaising with other GPpractices and patients, dealing with related patient and medical administrativetasks/emails/telephone calls and using own initiative and judgement whilstproviding a timely response to all communications.
To carry our a high standard of work and act as anintegrated member of the administrative team demonstrating a flexible approachto ensure that the needs of the Grove Medical Group are met.

Qualifications
Essential
1. GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
2. Confident in use of Microsoft systems such as Excel, Word etc
Desirable
3. Experience of working in a GP surgery or medical environment.
4. SystmOne experience.
