Overview:
An exciting new opportunity to join a well established Groundworks and Civil Engineering company specialising in the Highway, Rail and Airport sectors and operating across the South of England. The role offers a large scope for career progression and personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civils & Groundworks, the ability to oversee day to day duties on site and oversee project programmes while visiting various sites and liaising with clients in a mixture of office and site based work.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with managing projects (programme, H&S, quality)
Visiting various sites or could be based on one larger project
Daily liaison with clients
Daily liaison with site foreman
Assisting resolving daily project issues
Liaising with Quantity Surveyor
RAMS
Lift plans
Project programmes
Lookahead programmes
ITPs
Monitoring site progress
Meetings
Resource management / planning
Material call offs
Material reconciliations
Record keeping
Assisting with tenders
General project administration Requirements:
Site experience
Subcontractor or main contractor experience in the UK
CSCS
SSSTS / SMSTS but we can provide this training
Clean driving licence
Good communication skill
Ability to produce programmes
