This company provides a wide range of services to support market participants including, Originators, Debt Issuers, Investment Banks, Corporates, Borrowers, Lenders and Investors with the administration of Escrow, Debt, Loan and Structured Finance transactions. They provide specialised teams onsite to meet the customers needs and have a comprehensive range of experience to support the complexities on their deal.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Develop and produce routine, non-complex standard and ad-hoc departmental reports and spreadsheets, including but not limited to, project or product strategy analysis, profitability, historical reporting and work flow, statistical and financial analysis in support of the Global Capital Markets business.
2. Research and gather business, process, and/or financial information to support these activities. Complete basic ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions. May provide feedback to senior team members.
3. Develop a basic understanding of the Global Capital Markets business and its functions, processes and operations. Remain current on business and market trends that may affect the business/department.
4. Participate in planning and implementing new projects, products, programs and plans within Global Capital Markets to achieve short and long-term business objectives; assist in coordinating the design and execution of various projects for the promotion and maintenance of the business. Participate in developing system/process enhancement plans.
5. May be involved, to some extent, in developing and overseeing the implementation of procedures or controls related to compliance requirements within the overall business processes, directly or indirectly monitoring functions that, on a daily basis, ensure procedures and controls are functioning as designed, completing or overseeing embedded compliance self-testing, and/or assisting in examinations or audits involving regulatory matters and any resultant corrective actions.
6. Understand and adhere to the Companys risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Companys Risk
7. Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

9. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
10. Complete other related duties as assigned.
11. The position requires substantial interaction with internal and external contacts to obtain pertinent information in support of the Global Capital Markets business.
12. The jobholder works independently under general supervision as well as a member of a project team.
13. The incumbent works under generally established parameters looking to more experienced personnel for guidance as required.
Requirements
14. Bachelors degree OR lieu of a degree,
15. A combined minimum of 4 years higher education and/or work experience
16. Skilled proficiency in use of pertinent spreadsheet, database, graphing and presentation software
17. Working knowledge of financial models
18. Working knowledge of pertinent operating systems
19. Minimum of 1 years relevant work experience
20. Banking industry experience
21. Working knowledge of department-specific software
22. Ability to work independently and function as a member of a project team
23. Strong verbal and written communication skills
24. Strong analytical ability
25. Creative problem-solving skills
26. Working level project management skills
